LEADERSHIP
ANDREW WOODS, PASTOR
Andrew was an officer with the LAPD for 9 years. During that time, Andrew felt called to pursue pastoral ministry. Andrew received his MDiv with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and was certified as a Biblical Counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Since then, he has been working in pastoral ministry, serving as an elder. In 2023, observing the trend of Christians leaving California and it increasingly becoming a post-Christian society, it became clear there was a need for healthy churches in Northern California. The Woods' family moved from Texas to Watsonville, CA to pursue their calling to start a church in California.
Andrew and Courtney met while they were in school at Biola. They have been married for 16 years and have five children.
PHILIP LIMA, DEACON
Philip has been part of Christ the King from the time it started, and he has been faithfully serving the church ever since. In 2025 Philip was commissioned as a deacon, and among many other things he has served CTK as the Treasurer, by helping with AV needs, and by overseeing the tangible needs of the members.
Philip is the owner of Impact Creative. He is married to Angie, and they have a son.
